Accessibility statement.
We want this website to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, strong zoom or low vision.
Target level
The ellipsoide.ma website aims to conform to level AA of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1), in its four languages: French, English, Arabic and Darija.
Tests carried out
On 29 October 2026, every published page was tested with the automated tool axe-core (WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules): no non-conformity was found. These tests are supplemented by manual checks of keyboard navigation, heading order, contrast and right-to-left display in Arabic.
An automated test does not detect every barrier: if you encounter one, please let us know.
What the site offers
- An “Accessibility and display” panel (button at the top of every page): light or dark theme, text size, high contrast, wider text spacing, underlined links and no animations. Your choices are kept in your browser.
- A skip link to go straight to the content, navigation fully usable with a keyboard and visible focus indicators.
- Support for your device's “reduce motion” setting.
- Text rather than images of text, checked contrast and pages that remain readable at 200% zoom.
Known limitations
- Links to external websites (maps, official services) open pages whose accessibility does not depend on us.
- The animated header background and the map of Morocco are decorative: screen readers ignore them, and the animation can be switched off in the panel.
