What document do I need?

Buying land, registering it, finding its boundaries, building, dividing an inheritance, creating a title for each apartment or a subdivision: answer a few questions, one at a time, and get a roadmap with the steps, the documents, the people involved, the known time limits and the guides to read. Everything happens in your browser: no answer is sent.

Your procedure in a few questions

One question per screen. You can go back or change an answer at any time; the roadmap adapts.

How it works

A roadmap drawn from our guides, not an opinion on your file.

Every step, every document and every time limit displayed comes from one of our fourteen guides, written on the basis of the official texts and dated. Under each line, a link leads to the section of the guide it is taken from: you can check it, and read the text cited.

The tool only knows what you tell it. It does not consult the land registry, the municipality or the urban planning agency, and it does not replace a review of your deeds by a notary, an adoul or a lawyer. A time limit is only displayed if a text sets it and our guides cite it; the actual duration of a procedure depends on each file.

  • Free, no sign-up, no data sent: the answers stay in your browser.
  • Dated roadmap, printable or to save as PDF, in your language.
  • Arabic names of the documents, as they appear in the texts and in our guides.

If your situation does not match any of the answers offered, choose “I don't know”: the roadmap then shows what to check first.

The texts on which the answers are based.

The guides cited were checked and updated on 29 October 2026. They rely in particular on the following texts, in their consolidated version where one exists. The full list of sources, with links to the texts, appears at the bottom of each guide.

Frequently asked questions

Before using the assistant.

Does the roadmap have legal value?

No. It is general information, built from our guides. It helps you prepare for your appointments and gather the right documents; only authorised professionals and the authorities can give a view on your file.

Why does the tool not give the total duration of the procedure?

Because no text sets it. The law governs certain steps (two months for objections, thirty days for the plot division authorisation…), and the tool displays them; but the actual duration depends on objections, missing documents and the authorities.

Are my answers sent anywhere?

No. Everything happens in your browser. Your answers are kept there so that you can pick up later, and the “Clear my answers” button deletes them. The quote link only sends the title of the roadmap and your answers to the questionnaire, if you choose to use it.

How do I get the roadmap as a PDF?

Click “Print / save as PDF”, then choose “Save as PDF” as the printer. The printed page contains only the roadmap, dated, with the links to the guides; Arabic is rendered correctly.

My situation is unusual. What should I do?

Answer “I don't know” where that is the case: the roadmap then shows what to check first. For the technical part (survey, boundaries, technical file), you can describe your situation to us.

Need a survey, boundary marking or a technical file?

Ellipsoide, a surveying engineer registered with the ONIGT in Fez, reviews your documents and gives you a written quote. Drafting deeds is a matter for the notary, the adoul or the lawyer.
